For cycling itself, there were a lot of extreme switch-bucks and high passes in Yunnan, Sichuan and Southern Qinghai. I had at least 4000m< mountain passes every day on my way. Road condition were pretty bad in many part; bumpy, dusty and muddy. I got pretty of reason that made my body and bike abusing. However, super nice view from passes were forgetting my tiredness every time.

走行自体はというと、雲南・四川・青海南部までは4000m< の峠越えが毎日のようにあった。道もオフロードが多く、かなり自転車も身体も酷使していたと思う。ただその度に疲れを吹き飛ばす絶景が待っていた(悪天候の時は只々達成感だけだったが)
















Also, I got pretty of trouble with police men and dogs. Now, I got a lot of scars on my rear bags. I really recommend everyone who want to go where I went through that be prepare for dogs. You might get killed. Now, everything over those problem became my sweet memories.

公安や犬にも大分世話になった、自分のパニアバックにはいくつもの勲章として傷跡が残っている。
悪い事は言いません、犬への対応策はしっかりと学んでから行きましょう。本当殺られますよ。
今思うと本当良い思い出です。
















After cycling cross China.
中国を走り終えて。













During my stay, I had been fascinated by how various diversity of people there were.

単に民族多様性にただただ驚かされ、本当刺激的な毎日だった。












People live with mother nature. In Yunnan, there were many different tribal village in each valley. Tibetian, their life go with Yak. They drink milk of it, use skins as cloth and even use shit as fuel. Their life stile was very interesting.

自然と共に生きる様々な人達。谷が違えば文化・言葉が違う少数民族の宝庫、雲南。強力な紫外線が照らす中、ヤクと共に生きるチベット族の人達。ヤクの乳を飲み、ヤクの毛皮を着、寒ければヤクのクソを燃やして暖をとる。そんな彼等の生活はすごく興味深かった。










I met many nice people in country side. They invited me butter tea and let me stay at their home. Their hospitality was amazing.

地方で出会う人達はみな良い人達ばかりで、バター茶に招かれるのもしばしば。時には一晩の宿を提供して頂いた。損得を考えず旅人をもてなす彼等のホスピタリティには本当感動。














However, I often met more ass-holes than any other countries I came through. Their attitude when I ask the map, went to a restaurant and guesthouse were sometime fuck... I couldn't believe how loose they were.

一方で、嫌な人間に会った回数も東南アジアに比べて断然多かったのも事実。道を尋ねた際、食堂での対応。中国語ができない人間に対して、こんなに失礼な人が多い国は他にあるだろうか？













Some tourists I met on the way said same so that many think same way I think.

道中出会った旅人達も同じ事を言っていたので、同じ事を思ってる人は多いと思う。















Now, more and more this country is internationalized. They should think that people from other countries look at how Chinese act.

国際化が進み、対外的に内部を色んな国の人達に見られている人民達。もっと彼等は「見られてる」という意識を持った方が良いと思う。








Thus, I had a lot of good things and ass-holes in China. Those must make this part the best part of my journey.

そんな、良い事も嫌な事も沢山あった中国走行。問題なしで、この旅通してベストパートの一つになるでしょう。

After cycling south east Asia.
東南アジアを走り終えて。



The biggest thing I felt was how strongly people live here. I almost saw everyday real life of people here through bike tour. I have been impressed how strongly they live each single day, and I was pleased that I was born in Japan where people don't face much difficulty to survive.

一番感じた事、それは人の生きる力強さ。毎日のように彼等のリアルな生活を目のあたりにし、関心させられ、何不自由なく生活できる日本に生まれた事に本当に感謝する毎日だった。



Each countries I went through has different situations but in most of place I went through, small town and village, people work very hard to keep stabilize their life.

それぞれの国や住む地域によって状況は違ってはいるが、自分が通ったルート、主に農村部に住む人々は、みな日々の生活を維持する為に本当に良く働く。



All family members have different part of job on their life. There were nobody who don't work; they are helping each other.

家族それぞれが役割を持ち、老若男女役割がない人間などいない。



Also, their hospitality were incredible. Most of them are welcoming strangers like me.

それでいて、旅人を笑顔で迎える彼等のホスピタリティは素晴らしいと思う。



I can't remember how many times I got helped by their smile, especially smile of kids were giving me super power..

何度彼等の笑顔に癒された事か数えきれない。特に、小さな子供達の笑顔は正にドラゴンボールのセンズなみだ。



However, I found a big gap of life level between cities and villages.

一方で、都市部と農村部の生活格差のはどの国も目立っていた。



It appeared strongly in Cambodia and Laos. There were still many places without power, gas and water. People there live in very simple.

特にカンボジア、ラオスの農村部では電気、ガス、井戸もなく、本当に自給自足をしている人達が沢山いる。




In such place, of cause there were no public facilities such as school, so kids can't go to school.

そういう場所にはもちろん公共施設もなく、学校に行けない子供達が沢山いるのを目にして来た。



Even If there are schools, some kids can't go because they need to help their families.

あったとしても、家族を助ける為に学校になど行っていられない現状も事実。



I hope at least kids can get general education and make own decision in their future.

せめて子供には一般的な教育が受けられ、どんな事を将来できるか選べるようになってほしい。



In Cambodia and Laos, I saw many schools that have been built by other countries' funds such as Japan.

ラオスやカンボジアではNPOや各国の支援で沢山の学校が建設されているのを至る所で目にした。



Its very good development of them, but I don't know if there are enough teachers and also education programs for teachers.

これは本当に良い事。ただ、それを補う為の教員、彼等を教育する為のプログラムがあるのかはわからない。



Even if they built enough school, it doesn't make big difference if there are not enough teachers and teachers who just smart and won't be able to teach right things. This is the same to Japan.

いくら学校が増えて、テストをパスできる頭の良い教員が増えても意味がない(これは日本でも同じ事が言えるが)



I probably go visit this area again someday. I hope I can see their big smile again and their countries moved forward.

いずれまた東南アジアの国は訪れたいと思う。その時にまた彼等の生き生きした笑顔と、力強く生きる姿を見たい。
