The time for me to stay in china is getting running out. At the beginning, I worried how I can make to get to Urumqi in 2.5 month, but there was no worry. Even I could make my schedule in advance.
中国生活も残り少なくなってきた。最初は2ヶ月半でウルムチまで行けるか？とか思ったけど、意外と普通に来れたし、しかも多少の余裕を残して。


I was pleased that I prepared 3 month china visa in Japan. However, I regretted that I couldn't go to the south part of Xinjiang. If I had another 1 month, I would go to south route.
やっぱ日本で3ヶ月の中国ビザ用意して正解だったね。欲を言えばあと1月使って、新疆の南部行きたかったな～


Anyway, now I'm in Urumqi.
とにもかくにも、そんなわけで現在ウルムチ。


This is the biggest city in west China. The population is about 1.3 million. There are a lot of stores along streets like Ikebukuro, Tokyo.
130万の人口を抱える、中国西最大の街。高層ビルが立ち並び、街中にはショップが所狭しと立ち並んでいて、池袋っぽい。



I think most of them are from Han Chinese but saw some Uighur, Kazack and Hoi people.
多分、ほとんどが漢族で東部からの移民。ただ、ウイグル族やカザフ人、回族も良く見る。


In this town, I stayed at the hostel called 麦田青年旅社. Dormitory cost 45 yuen(40 yuen for the member of hosteling international). Compared with guesthouses, I have normally stayed so far, 45 sounds expensive. It's okay because there is free wifi and clean room here.
ここでの滞在には麦田青年旅社というホステルに滞在させてもらってて、ドミトリー45元(ホステルのメンバーカードを見せれば40元)。これまで使って来たトラッカー宿なんかと比べると倍の値段するが、WiFi飛んでるし、綺麗だし、まあいい。


I have a couple of important things to do in this town.
この街でする事、重要事項2点。


1. Applying Visa for Kazakhstan
1. カザフスタンビザ申請


2. Maintain my bike.
2. 自転車パーツの購入


I thought those works should have been easy to get done, but noooot....
普通に両方共に大丈夫だろうと思っていたが、そうは上手くいかなかった。
