It wasn't easy to extend my visa.
VISAの延長は簡単じゃなかった(^_^;)

Got to Jakarta, no problem.Very hot and soooooo many people and traffic.
問題なくジャカルタに到着。すごい人の数と車

Started screwing up.
To find the immigration office was difficult first of all.
こっからが、悲劇の始まり。
イミグレオフィスが見つからない(T_T)


I had a map in my travelers guide from Japan, but there was a restaurant where map shows immigration office. Then I showed address on the book to people, and found that the place was totally opposite side of town. Okay, I have enough time. Japanese don't get angrily easily.

地球の歩き方にあるの地図にイミグレオフィスと書いてある場所に行ったが、レストランに変わっていた。
近くにいた人に、本に書いてあったアドレスを見せると、全然違う場所。本が間違ってるんじゃん！！(￣ー￣) まあまあ、時間はたっぷりあるからね。日本人は簡単に怒りません。


I took a taxi to this place which took me 1hour due to heavy jakarta traffic jam.
タクシーを捕まえて、アドレスの場所へ。ジャカルタの大渋滞で1時間。

Went to a counter and asked a women about my visa extension.
カウンターへようやくたどり着き、VISAの延長について話す。

Again....
She said "you need to go to another office because this office is only for new visa appliance". My Japanese guide book was totally useless.Okay, I have more time after noon...Japanese don't get angrily easily.

ここは新規のVISAを申請するオフィスだから、違うオフィスに行って下さい、だって。なにーー(￣ー￣) 地球の歩き方には何度も助けられが、ここで裏切られるとは。。。まあまあ、ごごもあるし。日本人は簡単に怒りません。

I asked this woman the address of another office and took a taxi again which took me another 1 hour to get.

新たなオフィスの場所を聞いて、そこに向かう。これまた1時間。

Found the place at noon. It was lunch brake so I needed to wait 40 min for a counter to be re-opened.

昼に着いたもんで、昼休み中。40分待たされる(￣ー￣)

Finally, I could stat process of visa extension but another failure was here.

ようやく、この時がやってきた。。。でも、またもや・・・

A woman asked me where I am staying right now, so I answer "I stay in Bandung"
this was my mistake. I should have prepared the address in Jakarta. Because of that the people who apply visa extension in Jakarta need to stay in Jakarta.
パスポートを見せてからの質問。
管理官 > どこに滞在してるの？
俺 > バンドゥンです。

これが、大きな間違いだった。嘘でも良いからジャカルタの滞在先を準備しておくべきだった。ジャカルタ滞在者はジャカルタでVISAの延長申請。バンドゥン滞在者はバンドゥンで延長申請というルールらしい。

The woman said to me "you need to extend visa in Bandung, you cannot do it here".
バンドゥンで延長申請して下さい。

What what what????? I cannot??? I can apply my visa extension in Bandung??? I am so stupid and should have looked at more information. All frustration I had so far were exploded.
I don't get angry easily but was so mad due to all failure so far.

俺はバカです。もっと調べておくべきでした。日本人は簡単には怒••••とはいかず、
これまでのイライラが一気に爆発。

It doesn't make any change.....
Now I go back to Bandung by train...
Did nothing in Jakarta, but in this side trip, I am bit educated about visa issue.

それでも何も変えられはしなかった。これからバンドゥンに帰ります。
ジャカルタで何もできず(T_T)
よい勉強になりました。

Now, I am cooled down so looked back what happened at the office. Very angry in front of officer. Many people looked at me. It wad embarrassing....

落ち着いた今考えると、本当恥ずかしい。沢山の人の中で怒る俺。

I really hope it goes okay in Bandung. Will try again in Bandung tomorrow.
